By the nature of this service, examining coins by photograph only, the staff are unable to guarantee accurate appraisals of coin authenticity and condition.

1B) But we can guarantee your satisfaction.

Our quality of service is a direct reflection of the quality of the photographs you provide.

See our Coin Photography Guidelines Page for help, including examples of both acceptable and unacceptable photographs. Scans are not acceptable.

When in doubt, send in the best pictures you can take. If we’re able, we’ll guide you to better pictures. If we’re not, we’ll send you a 100% refund right away.

We’re here to help.

We require at least four different photographs of each coin. You will provide two excellent (by our definition), well-lit, evenly lit photographs of each side of each coin.

We do not guarantee our service because we do not physically handle your coins. If you prefer a guaranteed service, you may wish to use a well-known, reputable coin certification company. These services may be more complicated, may cost more money, and/or may take more time.

But we can guarantee your satisfaction. If, for any reason, you’re not completely satisfied with the result, tell us right away and we’ll send you a full refund. We’re here to help. We’re here to educate. If we’re unable to do that effectively, we don’t want to keep your money. We want to make you happy. And we want to educate you about your coins. Because let’s face it, coins are cool.

2) The cost of the service may exceed the value of the coin.

At least one professional numismatic coin grader will review your coin and render their professional opinion. This professional opinion is the most accurate possible assessment of your coin as based solely on the photographs you provide.

We’re all working hard here to make sure you’re satisfied. If you’re not, no questions asked, we’ll send you a refund. (Though, if it’s okay with you, we may follow up to find out why you were not satisfied so we can fix that problem for future customers. We can’t fix problems we don’t know about.)
