1) PriceThatCoin.com service is not guaranteed.
By the nature of this service, examining coins by photograph only, the staff here are unable to make 100% guaranteed accurate appraisals of coin authenticity and condition.
Our quality of service is a direct reflection of the quality of the photographs you provide.
See our Coin Photography Guidelines Page for help, including examples of both acceptable and unacceptable photographs. Scans are not acceptable.
We require at least four different photographs of each coin. You will provide two excellent (by our definition), well-lit, evenly lit photographs of each side of each coin.
We do not guarantee our service because we do not physically handle your coins. If you prefer a guaranteed service, you may wish to use a well-known, reputable coin certification company. These services may be more complicated, may cost more money, and/or may take more time.
2) The cost of the service may exceed the value of the coin.
At least one professional numismatic coin grader will review your coin and render their professional opinion. This professional opinion is the most accurate possible assessment of your coin as based solely on the photographs you provide.
3) If you are not satisfied with your service in any way, before you take any other action, you will contact the PriceThatCoin.com staff to review your situation at experts@pricethatcoin.com.
